Eyes, Tears and Ache

by Christie   Feb 10, 2006

Eyes stung with tears unshed,
A heart beating with dismay,
Eyes blinded by what they're seeing,
But too afraid to look away.

A face showing dejection,
Tears which never subside,
A heart which won't stop hurting,
A life of hapiness denied.

Heartache gleams in the eye's lashes,
A tear slowly falls,
Eye's crying for a broken heart,
Existence worth nothing at all.

This poem was really heart felt and strong it was good to read.
I can relate to what you write.
I hope your broken heart mends in time.
Keep on writing for it is the true key to our hearts.
    Take care :)
