Demon/Saint

by *Jess*   Feb 12, 2006

She walks the roads alone,
with tears in her eyes,
each step she takes,
full of hate and despise.

Her mother was a human,
Who passed away years ago,
Her father is a demon,
Unable to cease in a human world.

Demon she is yes,
but human she is too,
emotions she can feel,
just like me and you.

A lonely demonic soul,
In a cruel human race,
Defending for her life,
Tears pour down her face.

They hate what she is,
she sees weapons all around,
they shed half her blood,
and watch her hit the ground.

Her sympathy for others,
has been spit back in her face,
her soul is turning black,
her mind is in a race.

Her fathers blood is overpowering,
ready to tear flesh apart,
her demonic nature is no longer controlled,
by the kindness within her heart.

She grabs a mortal by the throat,
an lifts him off the ground,
she slices a wound through his chest,
and watches the blood pour down.

Deep inside she hears,
her mothers long forgotten voice,
telling her shes still human,
and she still has a choice.

Her father disagrees,
and tells her to be strong,
and to unleash her demonic power within,
but she knows her fathers wrong.

She looks down feeling guilt,
the boy was clearly dead,
she trembled on the spot,
thoughts ran wild through her head.

The small restless girl,
cant help but feel bad,
people cried that shes evil,
and no different from her dad.

She bent down over the boy,
a faint memory of my actions before,
she took a deep breath,
as she kneeled to the floor.

Without a word the girl,
placed her hand on the mortals head,
a gust of wind picked up,
as her eyes flared piercing red.

She whispered the Ballad of Bakara,
i sang it to her before,
its the ancient song of healing,
that drained my soul and core.

Her face went pale as milk,
she made not one sound,
as a tear ran down her cheek,
and she collapsed to the ground.

The boys wounds healed,
and was capable to stand,
he glanced over at the girl,
not a pulse through her hand.

She was not an evil child,
although she was brought up to be,
my sweet kind hearted daughter,
you've finally come back to me.
