Monster

by Bilquis   Feb 12, 2006

All you have been
is indifferent and cold
Yet I cannot hate you
I only wonder about your soul
Cold blooded beast that you are
Do you even have a heart?
I should have known you're a monster
From the very start
Do you possess tears to cry
And are they salty just as mine?
I have suffered from your neglect
Felt guilty for your failures
Shed tears for your ignorance
But now I know
I could find more emotions in a stone
I have cared for a dead statue
Soulless, heartless, cold
Colder than ice
You are frozen mercury
Your touch froze my heart
Glad you didn't touch all of me
You must be unhuman
How could a man act so callously
If I don't turn away from you now
You'll also make a monster out of me.
