The past

You once had promise me that you would of stay
but you left on that very same day
you left me with nothing else to say
but to cry and feel this way

I would now just close my eyes
and think about all your lies
how everything happened just so fast
that now is known as the past

Once in a while I would still think about you
think about all these pains you had put me through
but still I miss the time when I am with you
because deep inside I know my love for you is true

Even though I had tried to move on
and tried not to think about you anymore
still it seem that I can never find
someone new because it's YOU
that is always on my mind

I know that you and I can never be
I know that I have to try to see
that you aren't the only one for me

but until that day
I'll never stop to pray
for you to come back and stay
