The person in my life

The gates are always open
His arms are open wide
He will take you under his wings

He will teach you how to ride your first bike
When your just a little tyke

He will be there when you need him

In the end you will thank him
For everything he did

And all those nights when you were just a little kid

He came to your rescue
When you were scared
Stayed with you thru the night
And when he tucked you in bed really tight

He will always be behind you
No matter what you do
He taught me to be all I can be too
That he is my dad.
