This poem is a healing poem, which I like to read from time to time. It is good to know that people can move on from a painful past, however it is good to not forget, good to remember, though it hurts. Memories hurt, and alter you for life, but some of the greatest changes are brought to pass in a person's life when they live through something hard. I am glad your dad and you are on better terms, though as your poem said it is a bitter sweet joy because there were bad terms to begin with. A very heart felt poem. Huggles hunni!

Your poem can touch every reader in some way or another. I think most would agree that either we personally have been through something like this and/or know someone who has AND has survived/recovered.Finding your strength in writing. Wow can definately relate..although it seems like im the yyounger version of u and am still in these long teenage years, i feel like it will never end. I'd love to hear from u and how u forgave/moved on from it all..because i feel like i cant take anymore.
