Hearts unfolding

by speachless01   Feb 15, 2006

Heart's unfolding,
Body's shaking.
My world came down,
When truth became awakening.
Since, I've only frowned,
Actions still breathe-taking.

Never hungry or thirsty,
'Cause none are pleasing.
With out what we had,
Heart's forever bleeding.

I beg the lord,
To make me stop loving the,
Then perhaps leaving,
Would be easier on me.
Everything's so confusing.
Why can't this be a comedy,
Your lies so abusing,
Please fill me with bravery.

How could love,
Give me such a malady,
But your lies and deceit,
Put everything in jeopardy.
It hurts so much,
Just to be in this quandary,
You dispossessed my heart,
All causing a tragedy.

A brilliant piece of work that serves as a breath of fresh air from the over-cliche, blotchy, 'teenage poetry' that is so often clogging the world of beautiful writing. excellent piece, a solid 5/5. i wouldn't change a thing.
