Lost in the light

by Emma   Feb 15, 2006

Our lips have met a hundred times
And still the feeling lingers
If I try hard enough
I can still capture the exact same feeling as before

The way a smile would gently crease
Just as our lips would lock
The one and only remarkable feeling
That I could not let go of

*this is pointless it\\\'s not even a proper poem and i can\\\'t even finish it because there\\\'s too many confusing feelings haha sorry*

There's no need to be sorry. Sometimes it seems like everything is all jumbled up inside; but there's no such thing as a proper poem. But the best poems start off from those feelings that you can't escape from, so don't feel silly writing down what's in your head, and besides poets rarely consider their poems finished anyway. Keep writing, you'll suddenly find the words will click into place :) xx
