Time flies my angel

by Ian Costello   Feb 16, 2006

Half a year,
Six months,
Twenty six weeks,
180 days,
4320 hours,
259200 minutes,
or 15552000 seconds.
However you say it seems like a long time,
But in practice it flew.
To think
When you walked off that stage
You would spend the next 15552000 seconds with me.
I wouldn't haven't even thought it was possible.
I have given the best 259200 hours of my life to you
It is my hope that you can say the same.
180 days of bliss so sincere that I cry,
Not to lose it but to know that for twenty six weeks
I reached my hand into the vat of perfection,
Pulled it out and drank to the dregs from the cup
Of unmatched beauty,
Six months hasn't been enough,
I still have so much left to say
That I don't know how to convey,
What happened in the last half a year?
It all went too fast,

If asked I will say that I spent it with you,
Basking in an elated delirium.
