Shadow

Her cries upon the midnights dream
would haunt upon her fears
the pain and sorrow in her soul
would bleed into her tears

Never to be heard again
the screams inside heart
would cry for someone to lean on
until they break apart

But no one cared,the pain and fears
and guilt that lies within
so she went about her pain
and bore her blood and sin

Then the day that killed her pain
and brought her burned life's end
would drift upon the cold night air
never heard again

So when you see her broken soul
and ache beneath her fears
remember that you caused her pain
and drown her in her tears
