The Fire in Me

Love is like fire--
if you get too close you get
burned,
or if you go too far you
freeze.

For some people love
is a obstacle; for others
love is an achievement.
But as we all know no one is
perfect,no matter how much
you try to change someone to
who you want them to be.

God made everybody
different, but to put
years and years into a
relationship and sit back
and watch it fall apart
in seconds--that could
put a toll on someone's
heart and make it
hard for anything to
get in or out.

Some people say never
judge a book by its
cover, but I say don't let
one person's mistake
become another
person's downfall.
