Utter Silence

The tears continue falling
as the light is slowly dimming
I sit in utter silence

I can't help but feel
this weight upon my shoulders
I sit in utter silence

your words resonate in my head
as the life slowly drips out of me
I sit in utter silence

the blood pools on the floor
as I mouth "I'm sorry"
I die in utter silence

never voicing how I truly felt
inside
