Untitleedddd

She walks down the halls
always carrying
the same emotionless expression
on her down turned face

she sits in class
taking scarce notes
daydreaming out the window
of a place of no fear

she sits in lunch
rarely eating much
if anything at all
disgusted by her fattening body

she rides the bus
drawing in her notebook
illustrating all her pain
desperate to push it away

she spends the day
faking a smile or laugh
to show her friends
that she is OK

she looks up
and always makes eye contact
hoping that you'll finally see
the truth in my eyes
