The story of steven stayner

by angie A   Feb 19, 2006

Steven stayner was a little seven year old boy,
the kid was full of spirit, full of joy

Steven was a boy who liked to be alone
not communicated with no one but his own

that is why I decided to write this poem because a story that is old and cold
deserves to be told.

now before you dare to go on,this is all true
this is what happened December 4, 1972....

little Steven stayner whom was in the second grade was walking home from school
just as a normal day, everything was fine. everything was cool

till a man, talked little Steven stayner to go in the car.
but little Steven knew more by far

\"never talk to strangers\" was what he was told
but in that deadly car,he was forced
a day that had sun, faded into cold.

little Steven was only in the 2nd grade so he could not use his head
but he still tried everything to get away from the man who kidnapped little boys in California, merced.

and all of this resulted,
to little Steven being gruesomely assaulted,
and to no he could of consulted.

little Steven\'s hair was dyed blond, though it was really brown
he was forced to live in a smile, though he wanted to live in a frown

poor little Steven stayner was living in hell,
though his real name was Steven stayner
he had to live under the name \"Dennis Parnell\"

he\'s kidnapper, Kenneth Parrnell
told little Steven stayner,
untruthful lies
that made little Steven wanna cope with his kidnapper and hold in his cries

soon years later
no more adolescent days, because Steven was now a teenager

Steven stayners parents could not replace the gap,
since after all these years their little Steven was in the dreadful hands of a man that Steven was kidnapped

then one night,
Kenneth Parnell came home with a new victim named Timmy white.

one day,
Timmy and fourteen year old Steven escaped together
and left their hell of captivity for what seemed like forever.

to make the long story short,

the police found Steven stayner who was missing for seven years
informed, Steven stayners family
and they cried joyful tears.

and thanks to Steven stayner, who brought Timmy white away from the horrid captivity and back with his family

for seven years Steven was missing,

those \"missing child\" posters were faded
all because little Steven was persuaded.

this dreadful story was made into a book and a movie in titled \"i know my first name is Steven\"
but these marks of this story will forever be uneven...

even though this happen before,
to this story there is still more...
