Plague

by LadyPearl   Feb 19, 2006

Sacrifices of rage proceed through dawn
waiting, as if, a fatal event will launch
Fiery, blood-red, glowing sun
breaking the hold of every bond

Like a plague, deceptive indeed
a fraud to treacherous ways
I'm sick of your pain, your evil greed
The way it drives me far away

No time to flee from lost illusions
No time to suppress the anger
No chance to ask more questions
unable to withhold this avenger

Spreading upon my tender skin
A menace to this humanity
As it's holder's life begin to dim
softly, quickly, so naturally

Mourning for immediate release
deadened by plague's consumption
Hope is lost, none believed
A simple misfortune of reactions

Health neglected, for reality it here
Nothing more to slash disease
The fires are near, no longer to care
To death itself, I am in need

I love the third stanza to peices. The first one had a few choppy parts... Read it over, or maybe it's just the way my mind reads it, heh.

    Good job.
