Deadly consequences

by AngelEyez89   Feb 19, 2006

I remember how I loved you, I remember the things you said,
I remember talking to you all night while I lay awake in my bed.
I remember you hurt my friends, and how I refused to believe,
I remember telling you so many times, that I wanted you to leave.
I remember going to your home, and trying to make sense,
I remember being brave enough to yell at you, but at an unfair expense.
I remember hitting you and your crazy stare,
I remember you hurting me, acting like you donâ??t care.
I remember when you pushed me against the wall,
I remember I lost my voice and couldnâ??t scream at all.
I remember spitting at you, and you yelling at me,
I remember the blood in my eyes, I couldn't see.
I remember my lungs being crushed and me screaming in pain,
I remember thinking, I'd never be the same.
I remember being so short of breath,
I remember wondering whether this was death.
I remember thinking, this can't be true,
I remember the days when I loved you.
