Best Friends

by Ashley Redden   Feb 20, 2006

If anyone knew what best friends were
We could defiantly say it was us
Through thick and thin
We stood tall and strong beside each other

No matter what it took
We gave all we could give
Never was we jealous of what the other had
Instead we were proud of each other

When I needed a shoulder
No doubt you were there
If you had to drop a plan just to listen to me
You was up to it

Good times has out weighted the bad
The moments might have past
But we remember
everything we had

You could start a sentence
And I knew exactly what you going to say
We thought together
It was kind of like an old song we both knew all the words to

Theres so many things I could
Of which, All, I'm thankful for
But most of all
I thank God for you

Without you
And all the things that happen in life
Whether it was something good or bad
It what made me who I am

Don't ever give up
Which is told to each other quite often
But when the time comes and
Jesus is there to call your name

You can talk to him
And Ill finish the sentence to
For tomorrow comes often
And your work on earth is through

Dedicated to my best friend and you know who ya are
