Never Quit
Sometimes life can be so painful and rough
And you have everyone around tell you to be tough
Some may grab you by the hand and pray
Giving themselves hope that there will be another day
It is difficult to keep the peace within your heart
And always know that after every ending, there is a start
Some days can bring you down, into the deepest pit
But the whole way down, keep trying and dont quit
Dont ever let them win, dont give up hope now
You are here for a reason, even though you dont understand how
When you wake up, you feel the same doubt
But that is not what life is for, or about
You may not see how many lives you touch
And how many people love you, there is no telling how much
Another day to you may seem like a lifetime to another
The end of the road is coming, just a little further
You cant turn around and try to change the past
You have to trust that theirs more chances, this is not the last
It is up to you to stop, look around, and forever see
That you are the one who decides who your going to be
For all of the journey isnt pleasant and fun
But maybe the best part has yet to begun
Dont count the steps you take along the way
And dont count the hours until the next day
Believe that you are the writer that writes your own book
And that its not all the ending, threes more to it, so look
Trust in you, and you will go as far as the sky
Dont make your dreams a question, dont ask yourself why
some people walk through it all and never look around
Then there is some people that do and are surprised at what they found
Some days can bring you down to the deepest pit
But you can make it back up, as long as you never quit
