Soldiers by sabrina graham

How do we ever repay them?
everyday they keep going, not giving up
every moment they must be alert, not surrendering
while the ones that love them so, stay home

sure we have stickers the show our support
but would you take their place when given the chance
we welcome them home but then they get a call
we need you, now, its ba....beep...beep,beep,chhhhhh... hello?
then a bomb hit's the phone

they have 0.5 seconds to decide if they need to move
they gear up, load their rifle, and take a run
going into the smoke to rescue the helpless
but to kill the restless, don't forget its what they had to do

then we have people discriminate against the war
but they do nothing to help them to come home
why do we fight on our own ground but....
we get mad when we kill others on their land

    Good, but it sounds unfinished.
