A little girl...(cancer)

A girl walks into a doctors office
Sits down in a chair
Trying to be patient
Playing with her hair

A nurse smiling kindly
Softly calls her name
Her parents couldnt make it
But she wish that they had came

She gets into the room
And gently takes a seat
The nurse takes her info
The girl stares at her feet

\"The doctor will be in shortly\"
The nurse closes the door
Her hearts fluttering uncontrollably
She cant stop staring the floor

The doctor comes in smoothly
Looks her in the eye
\"The test came back positive\"
The girl begins to cry

\"But we have caught it soon
So there are things that we can try,\"
The doctor seems so hopeful
But she knew that she would die

\"The cancers moving quickly
But there are some things that we can do\"
She knew that he meant chemo
Could she make it through?

Friends tried being strong
The girl was being tough
Taking the pain like a hero
Even though it was rough

Family stare in disbelief
This girl scared yet being strong
Living life to its fullest
It wouldnt be too long

*The girl is playing in a field
Suddenly she topples to the dirt
Struggling to just breathe
Her insides begin to hurt

Sirens blare in the background
Her breathings slowing down
A person rushing toward her
Scoops her off the ground

The girl is in a white silk gown
With smile on her face
Waiting to enter heaven
Getting touched by God’s grace

She takes her parents hands
Her heartbeat steadies slow
The little girl is gone
It was finally time to go
