Mother

by Libby M   Feb 21, 2006

On a November day, she left me in disbelief
I watched her take her last precious breaths
I felt angels surrounding us, I sitting there-
Holding on to her hand I kissed into all the years.
All the years of when she held me, brushed my hair,
Of when she kept me close to be safe and warm,
Of when she held my hand to cross the streets,
Of when she stretched out her arm asking to hold her handâ?¦
Oh the life she held into those working hands, I kissed all the years
All the years she worked so hard and oh tried to maintain.

On a November day, she left me in disbeliefâ?¦
She is gone forever I realize all of this as I stare at her grave.

It's not over, she's still there! Still watching over you, and still holding your hand! YOU WILL SEE HER AGAIN! So don't you give up, you hear? God works in mysterious ways, I don't know if you are a beliver or not, but either way... She will always be watching over her precious little angel! YOU
