Can't let him go

She cuddled under the covers,
bowed her head to pray,
then burst into tears.

"lately I bury my head,
and cover up my eyes,
because Lord lately,
I've been living in many to many fears.

I think I've fallen into love,
and I can't let him go,
because Lord I'm afraid I'm just to scared.

I've tried to talk it out,
but no one seems to care,
they just turn their head,
my words disappear in thin air.

So I guess I've come to pray,
to ask a simple question,
Please help me get through today,
and help me learn to be OK."

She pulled her head out from the covers,
and smiled,
Even if it still hurt,
She'd give herself some time to mend.
