Forever in our hearts

1 million innocent people,
Breathing there that day,
Never had they wished,
To be taken that way.

Within 5 minutes,
They knew that life was gone,
But only in a second,
No more life lived on.

Towers crashed down one by one,
While people ran away,
Everyone in danger,
Scared of whats today.

As we stand in silence,
We remember the ones we lost,
Our lives still go on,
As if nothings gone wrong.

Five years today,
Terrorists taught us how to morn,
And fear our everyday.

We look back and we'll smile,
For those that fought them back,
All our soldiers we lost in the fields,
To only leave us safe.

Our Country stands tall,
With Bravery at the ends,
We've made it through the hard,
9/11 forever in our hearts.
