She danced so lovely

by Raydeen   Feb 23, 2006

She was exquisite;
She was the happiest person I ever saw,
and when she danced,
she looked like she didn't even have one flaw.

She was a little girl,
maybe 5 years old.
She never made one mistake,
did everything she was told.

And when she danced,
it was like she could fly.
she made it look so easy,
I always believed that when she danced, she really could touch the sky.

As long as she had dancing she'd always have what she'd need,
she wanted to be the Prima Ballerina ; the star.
I always believed she'd make it,
thought she'd go that far.

What I didn't know was that her daddy drank,
he beat her mommy to,
you never would have known,
she never said a word even after he hit her and she flew.

See that little girl,
she would have made it far.
Had her daddy not have came home that night,
yes, he came home from the bar.

He beat her to death,
that little girl she died.
Her daddy told her mommy it'd happen to her to if she told,
so her mommy lied.

and every time I think of that little girl,
a tear falls from my eye,
she would have made it,
I remember seeing her fly..
