Can't Wait

by Jacqueline   Feb 24, 2006

Every morning I wake up and cry,
I don't think I can ever forget your body, Or even say goodbye,

I still have the photograph we took together. I keep it by my side, I kiss it every night.

Sometimes I think this is some kind of nightmare,
And I think I will wake up,

But its not that way,
I can't forget your face,
Its all I see when I shut my eyes.

Why did you drink if you were going to drive,
I wish I would have seen it coming,
So I could be there to protect you,
But I guess it was your time,

I used to have fear over death,
but now I can't wait to be near,
I want to hug caress, and kiss you.
So I can keep on loving you.
Like when you were here.
