The Differences Don't Matter

White people wear white
Black people wear black
Why is this happening to the world that use to be one?
Is it the religion?
Or is it the color?
If you take those away
There's nothing that's different
What's happening to the world with happiness and love?
Is it the wars?
Is it the hatred in different cultures?
Whatever it is, it only happens because you make it happen.
We're all the same if you think about it.
But people don't think of us the same
They only care about what's different
So they can pick a fight about who's better than who
And what's better than what
Just forget the differences
Just think of the similarities between us
What does it matter
If we're different cultures
Or different colors
We're all human beings that love each other
Don't forget that when we live
We always love someone that's not always the same as us
But does it matter to the person that loves?
No it doesn't. Cause once you love
There's nothing different
Once you love
Every thing's the same
Once you love
You're one with the other
Once you love
You're always with each other
No matter what other people think
You're always with that person you love
Whether they're a different culture
Or a different race
Nothing stops them from loving each other
Not the little differences that take them apart
But the big similarities that bring them together.
These days are the days that we want to love each other
There's war going on and lots of other bad news
You never know what's going to happen in the world
And you never know when it's going to happen
So love each other while you get the chance
Don't wait till the last second to get over the little differences between us.
Remember that people are people
And we're all the same
If you take away the minor differences.
You can put it this way
If it wasn't for the minor differences
We would all be the same
And then there would be no use of being with each other
It'll be the same as being alone.
The differences don't matter
The differences don't matter
