Will You Talk to Me Today Daddy?

by Unforgiven Retniap doolb   Feb 26, 2006

How does that make you feel father,
To make your daughter cry,
You told her you have read the poetry,
So now you can't lie.

How does it feel daddy,
To be no one a loser,
and be everything fallen,
just because you couldn't choose her.

Do you cry at night father,
knowing that your killing her,
NO YOU DON'T
Because everything you did last night is a blur.

Prove yourself father,
dig a heart into your arm,
Show me that you actually have one,
and put yourself through the harm.

Why don't you shed a tear for me,
so you can see how it feels!
cut as deep bleed some blood,
watch the only thing that times heals.

The clock is ticking daddy,
four more years till I can run far away,
the years are going faster daddy,
does that change anything or do you still not want to talk to me today?

Okay....there's emotional play and well some overall intense moments within this piece. A little bit of something wrong with the second stanza. Something about one of those lines kinda throws me off. But yeah this was really something cool.

This is a really sad poem, if its true I hope things get better for you. But you should check out the second stanza (I think thats what they're called) it kinda made me confused, but overall it was good.
