Again I fall

by Flying Phoenix   Feb 26, 2006

There across I see you
An inane grin spread wide
Upon your face
Every moment lingers
As if I'm savouring your taste

Those eyes that I once
Knew so very well
And I sigh
When you look at I
I am caught again
Under your spell

These minutes are tearing
Me into fragments
Shattered into pieces
Scattered across the ground
That is I
When you are around

Time came and continued
It's ever lasting path
And see you
I did not
Never heard your laugh

Vanished away
That's how it seemed
The only time I did meet you
Was alone at night
When of you, I dreamed

Then months later
Suddenly you came here
These memories long forgotten
Did again
Start to reappear

Thoughts of why it ended
Disappeared from my mind
Surrounded I was
Of fantasies - only one kind

Against all advice
These feelings came
Not listening to my head
My lust did remain

Yet my strength of will
Still continues strong
But how long can it last
When it is you I look upon?

Help me now
Before I fall too deep
Take him away
And return to me
My peaceful sleep
