Fate

by Iola   Feb 27, 2006

Fate is unfolding; the winds are blowing change.
The way this is happening, is very very strange.
Further away, but closer to you.
Everything is bright and everything is blue.

Knowing for certain, but utterly unsure.
What will intervene? Will our path stay pure?
Earth is shedding her old skin. The desert is whispering your name.
Will our lives lead to sunshine, or will we die in vain?

Patiently observing the system; seeing this battle unfold.
Playing with youth and memories; watching us growing old.
Canoeing in this stream of life, carelessly getting wet.
If this is what we really want; its fate that we will get.

Great poem again. ^_^ I've loved all the poems I've read of yours. This poem made me think about how natural things can flow. Awesome poem, can't wait to read future ones. =)
