Body Parts

by Iola   Feb 27, 2006

A teardrop falls onto the ground and splash like stone on glass.
A heart stop beating for just a few seconds, it’s punctured by a dart.
Stomach stops eating as the craving gets deeper, because food doesn’t nurture the soul.
Lips go dryer and tongue stop speaking as mind reject what’s been shown.

Bones are cracking – one by one – as brittle back starts to break.
Skin is covered with drops of sweat, as heart is fighting this ache.
Blood is boiling with fierce passion but quickly put out with icy snow.
Body is lying in ashes of loneliness; escaping from the unknown.
