Dear god, tonight I ask you,
please protect me from harm,
Help me to find a way out,
please help to keep me calm,

Help me to believe in myself,
and that my life will be OK,
Please make me stronger,
because I'm crying every day,

Please make them stop this,
why are they treating me this way?
Help me to become independant,
so I can get out and move away,

Most of all I am asking you,
please keep me hanging on,
Take that man away from me,
and help me feel like I belong.
