An hour with God

by angie A   Mar 1, 2006

I turn to God, as he tells me i have committed sin,
with the touch of his divine hand our journey is yet to begin.
mingling with the clouds,God shows me how i made people happy and sad
God grins but it is replaced with a frown as he mentions the things i did good and bad
as God and I,
float above the sky,
he replaces the clouds with images of how i made people laugh even cry
as i get a glimpse of heaven
ever lasting happiness is fulfilled everywhere
as God replies "if you do not sin as much someday you will be there"
God also replies saying to me " for you the more is yet to come"
God also mentions that at times i am smart but other times i am hard headed and dumb
with God's power,
he rushes minutes into an hour.
before i leave,
God turns my frowns into a smile
as he says "to smile than to frown would make your life worthwhile"
God then erases my tears and with the divine touch of himself,
my heart is mended,
i wish i could stay, but my hour with God has ended.
as God vanishes away,
he says,"though you do not know it,
i will always respond to every prayer you pray
soon night is turned into day
my response is filled with astonishment and bewilderment,
because i just saw our beloved God,
a sight that for others to see, the chances our odd
and that is how i spent my our with God....
