Time is short
memories too quick to pass
my life has changed so many times
i have the worst time letting go
i was told
what will happen
will happen
things are for a reason
whats said and done
makes you a stronger person
though ,i keep feeling like i have lost
i have somehow missed the big picture
the growth my soul should have gained
i have fallen back to bad habits
let the opportunity escape
before it ever unfolded
destroyed a perfect chance
thinking i can still take control of it
one day i will learn
what the big picture is
I'm trying to rush the process
when it must be felt
each step
as painful as it is
i try so hard
suffocate the feeling
hiding in myself
it all comes back around
when i least expect it
the lesson has won me
the process
i regret it
