Blood Drone

by Rand   Mar 4, 2006

How quickly you're forgotten
When you're falling all alone
With darkness all around you
You're just another drone

You don't cry like you used to
When your body writhed in pain
A little mass of darkened blood
Just waiting for the drain

What a trick the earth bestowed
When it opened up it's mouth
It opened up beneath us
And left us falling south

This blackened pit seems endless
The bottom can't be met
All the time, you're wishing
That your life could be reset

It's too late to save you
You've fallen way too far
You're just a little blood drone
Reaching for the stars
