A message spelled in red

by Rand   Mar 13, 2006

Blood splattered on the wall
A message spelled in red
"Mister, will you miss me?
Will you miss me when I'm dead?

A little girl with bright blonde hair
And clear, sky blue eyes
Lays upon the tiled floor
In her own blood disguise

A broken sigh escapes her lips
Fresh tears adorn her face
A little girl doesn't deserve
To be trapped in such a place

The little girl is left alone
To think and pace the floor
Permanently trapped behind
This ever closing door

She's the inner child
Of those that would be dead
Smearing their own bloodstains
A message spelled in red
