Red

by Clorissa   Mar 4, 2006

The blood that flows through the heart
For love can never be torn apart
It was known right from the start
Even when you drive around in a Target shopping cart

The rose on such a luxurious vine
Given along with a wedding ring
Sipping that sweet red wine
There can't be any finer thing

The crimson of a broken heart
The bloody tears run down a cheek
If only they knew it right from the start
The clouded minds of love wouldn't seems so bleak

The gleaming ruby in an eye so true
The heartache of the one who cheated
Given up love without a thing to do
A strong heart that feels mashed and beated
