Fallen for the night, without you

by Lynn Anderson   Mar 4, 2006

Fallen for the night, wondering if what I had said to tell you was right. Thoughts leave me stranded. Never the less I felt broken down and abandoned.

To see you out of my way. Unraveling the truth of you. You wouldn't ever show me, what I meant to you.

Letters with no content, of what I expected to hear. It was too much to take. Even though your feelings couldn't have any more clear.

You were someone I couldn't have. You wouldn't let me in. Consider me lost, in what maybe could have been.

Here without you now. Feeling broken and blue. I told you everything I needed, Just wondering what I mean to you?
