Drifting Away

As night fall,
Thinking of you.
To you my heart calls,
Making me the fool.

Heart you betray me,
I feel fear.
Cant you see,
Thru the salty tears.

Feeling a sharp pain,
A deep lonely ache.
Am I insane,
Will the hurt go away.

My soul screaming inside,
No one seems to see.
Behind my smile I hide,
This deep pain in me.

All I do is cry,
The light begins to fade.
No matter how hard I try,
My soul is slowly drifting away.
