Spring

Spring

Spring signals new beginnings,
there is love in the air again.
Out of hibernation come animals,
No more snow for a while.

The icy rivers tore under the sun,
as the water flows so powerfully.
Birds and bees are flying around,
the sun shows his face more often.

The leaves are all coming back,
all over there is green to be seen.
Skies are so blue and bright,
except for the days it rains.

Songbirds sing old spring songs,
but they are still so relaxing.
The fresh scent of new life,
Awaking from a long winter sleep.

Spring has sprung new life,
Everything is colorful again.
Lovebirds and songbirds,
say goodbye to you Mr. Winter.

Very interesting. Due to the unrhymingness, the end of each stanza seemed very abrupt. Not that I'm one to talk, I rarely-if-ever rhyme. I just found it interesting. It fits the topic well, though, Spring is a very harsh season, in a way. The imagery is great, word choices very good. :)

Good job on this poem. It had good imagery and I can't stand winter, so that made the poem even better.
