Don't

by megera   Mar 5, 2006

Don't think of me as just another girl,
Don't think of me as just another freak,
Don't think of me as a waste of time,
Don't think of me as a failure.
Instead don't think of me at all,
You never have before.
What makes this time different?

Don't look at me as another sad story,
Don't look at me hiding in the corner,
Don't look at me as I cry,
Don't look at the scars.
Just look away as if I'm not really there,
In all reality I'm not.
Why are you suddenly looking now?

Don't listen to me yelling,
Don't listen to my cries,
Don't listen to my pleas for help,
Don't listen to sobs.
Just keep hearing what you want to hear,
And I'll continue my silent screams.
