I'll Be Your Slave

by Sondos   Mar 5, 2006

Here are the souvenirs of my life
My fight, my journey my death kissed strife

Branches of trees
And smiling, taunting leaves
Intangible dolls, glass coated
Hidden
Though plain for all to see
Concrete jungles, immense
Stiff
And Bittersweet cups of tea
Lavender blushed
Speeches hushed
No rapturous applause for me
Lollipops and sunshine
Beneath the lightning bolts

The sheets of this bed
Enclose me tightly
I am the child
In this glass coffin
The lilies overwhelm me
Like a jelly-eyed Frankenstein
Take me
Creatures of the Night

If you'll be my destiny
I'll be your slave
