Let fear confront me
With it's cold icy hand
Let life secure me
And pull back the sand

Let tears drown me
Into useless emotions
Let screams take hold
And make of disillusions

Let the ground call me back
Where I never belonged
Let me see in my eyes
Something more than a song

A tale so disrupted
That I can not explain
Take me back, go home
Let me stay not the same

Only then perhaps
Would I feel what I felt
