Day made of Gold

by Jim Shipman   Mar 6, 2006

I love you more than anyone can see,
From the first day you met me.
Dancing in your cloths so fair,
Like a free heart could only dare.
I know it felt so right,
But why did we make love that very night?
Like to souls in an endless embrace,
Between sheets of satin and lace.
So soft and firm are your breasts,
With my hands I did caress.
Feeling every nook and cranny,
Your body sweet as candy.
A set of lips touching mine,
With a taste of honey wine.
I looked into your eyes,
so dark and green,
Felt like I was in a beautiful dream.
Your hands running through my chest hair,
That night I didn't have a worry or a care.
I know this day did come and go,
In my heart it's still made of gold.
