No.. Of Course I Wasn't Scared..

I remember the day very clear
i was trembling with fear
trying hard to keep you from knowing
but my every feeling was showing

you hugged me tight
and told me everything would be alright
i whispered in you ear
that this was my biggest fear

the nurse said they were ready
i couldn't believe this was happening already
my baby gave me one last hug and let me go
i was off to somewhere i didn't quite know

these people standing over me
there was at least three
i was scared to death
i began to lose my breath

i passed out rather fast
i don't remember what happened last
all i remember is waking up and missing you
and finally knowing your feelings were true

you stuck by me when i needed you most
and because of that we are growing so close
i love you with all my heart
this experience didn't completely tear me apart

i was so worried about the out come
but of course my baby was there to tell me not to be dumb
the surgery went fine
everything is now back in line

thanks to you my girlfriend
for being the one whom i could depend
i love you very much and i need you to know
that i appreciate you even thought i don't always let it show

i love u Latisha Marie.. and i honestly do appreciate and everything u do for me.. i know i don't always show it.. but i love u with everything that i have and u do mean the world to me.. thank u baby for being there for me.. ALWAYS.. :*:*:*:*
