Puddle Splashers

by Jim Shipman   Mar 8, 2006

I love the rain,
And a plugged water main.
Building a dam or a dike,
To make the puddles I like.
Jumping to the puddles middle,
There I do a little wiggle.
Wearing my puddle splashers,
Imitating a few known dancers.
Singing at the top of my lungs,
You'll know when I'm done.
People drive by to leer,
I'm not crazy or a queer.
Did I lose my mind?
WOW! Look! I found a dime.
