Behind Inner Doors

by Anthony Vasconez   Mar 8, 2006

Staring out a window with a spark within his eye,
Thinking about his loved ones, as then he starts to cry,
Crying tears of sadness, feeling life can be no more,
Till one special day, he decides to open a door.

A door that hides his sadness, a door filled with his dreams,
Dreams of being happy and a heart that stays redeemed,
But as the door stays open, he saw of dreams no more,
As dreams become reality of man clean and pure.

Was it accidental, that he came into life's path,
Or was it faith's directions, showing life's other half,
Showing a man so special, that his heart beats insane,
As it beats out each letter, spelling this persons name.

Now patiently he wait, as the time slowly goes by,
To make sure things are right as his future has arrive,
With open arms he greets him and hold him nice and tight,
Absorbing warmth of body, as the heats feeling right.

Now mind's question ponders, and needs to be defined,
"Could this be my Romeo?", is thought that comes to mind,
As he gazed within his eyes and they seemed bright as day,
He thanks the Lord from up above in thoughts as he prays.

He looks at him within his eyes that's words cannot speak,
The eyes translate happiness, which no one can defeat,
He then caresses gently, his face that feels so right ,
He says in final words, "you are mine till blind has site".

As then he pulls him close to him, just to feel him there,
Then gently whispers in his ear, "no one can compare",
"Compare to what we both may have as we become one",
"And both being together like heat belongs to sun".

Now if this feeling comes to change, his heart will go on,
To heal a slow regretful break, with him being gone,
But if his feelings are as thought, and no one is confused,
Then together they'll stay, exchanging their "I love You's".
