Fairy Tales

by out of death   Mar 9, 2006

To feel a love so brave & true
Is against unsurmountable odds
For two minds thinking only or you
To simply bow thine head & nod

The simple things adding up;
The doors, the whispers, the kisses
The heart that flutters, then jumps
The teary eye that misses

The outstretched arms, then embrace
The silence broken with the eyes that
stare
The mind captivated, but not wanting to
race
Oh! To find a love so rare

Never needing to sacrifice,
Always in his presence
Never having to compromise,
Always with his essence

If only such a true love existed
But kept secret, never to tell
But no writings, nor listed
Forever to remain my fairy tale
