REMNANTS OF DESTINY

by Christy Trenholm Schmall   Mar 10, 2006

Here today
then gone
to yesterday
memories faded not
of the warmth of that
cold deer blind
watching for the
rainbow colors to
filter through
your hair shine
seeing electric blue
satin skies of
youth
billowing white tufts
of hope filled
with silver
mercury lined reality

And I still have the scent.

This is wonderful - have been reading your poems and they each leave me to ponder about something - it seems to me that in each of your work, you wish to leave behind an impression, that can be moulded by the reader to anything he wants.

well done. great read. do come and talk to us in the forum.

    good luck and peace.
