Slaying The Lover

by Jonathan   Mar 11, 2006

Broken and scarred
That is what's left of a betrayed lover
Uncovered and exposed only to be shamed
Place in the Devil's game of deception
Leaving me bleeding upon my dreams
The light ripped out my eyes
With these lies darkening my soul
Played the fool
How might this make me stronger inside?
All I want to do is hide away from Cupid
That liar, poisoning me with his arrow
Running through my veins
Slowly fading my love deep within my ocean
Living in vain due to devil's demons, undercover,
Wanting to be with you and only you
But now all I have is my broken heart
Drowning within my own blood
Revealing your haunting upon my soul,
How long shall this lie stay shackled to you?
You would try to defeat me
Make me cry this tearless weep
Believing to bring me to a long lost sleep of you
What do you think your doing to me?
Sorry, but I have been Chosen
To put demons like you into,
Ashes to ashes,
Dust to dust,
Take this soul
Banish this evil.
