Little Gifts

by enfant du tordu chagrin   Mar 12, 2006

So what, if i buy you, the odd little gift
Of the things in the town, through which we do sift
If i had the money, I would buy you all
All you'd ever wanted, whether big or small
I would buy you roses, to brighten up your day
Any little thing that might, send a smile my way
I would buy you countries, if I had the power
So that your day would be, oh so far from sour
If I had the means, i'd buy you happiness
And everything that currently, you feel that you miss
I'd give you the world, all wrapped up in string
So what, if i buy you, the odd little thing
